Bela Wrona is a singer/songwriter with a deep soulful voice and a gift for thought-provoking lyricism. A lifelong devotee of music, his career has seen him explore everything from grunge and hard-rock to vintage blues and Americana. His latest work, however, driven by his signature baritone acoustic guitar, is his most emotionally compelling to date.

Born in Poland and raised in Regensburg Bavaria, Bela grew up immersed the catchy melodies of 60’s acts like the Beatles and Hollies, setting him on the path to a life long love of music.

Amidst the region’s sprawling beauty, he found constant inspiration, setting the tone for earthy, organic tones that would later define his style. His charismatic live performances earned him the nickname ‘Crane,’ as well as favorable comparisons to free-spirited icons like Jim Morrison.

As Bela’s musical evolution continued, he found himself drawn away from rock music towards a more pure, acoustic sound. By embracing minimalism and putting his plaintive, poetic lyrics at the forefront, he developed a sound both introspective and enthralling - inspired by classic 80’s and 90’s songcraft, but with a modern flair all its own.

The resulting debut solo EP, 2023’s ‘Bluegreen,’ is a perfect encapsulation of everything that makes Bela special. Defined by intricate songwriting, hypnotic percussion, and Bela’s passionate performances, these songs are an ideal introduction to a vital new voice in international acoustic music.
