The Argentine rock/pop band El Zar, led by Facundo Castaño Montoya (vocals) and Pablo Giménez (guitar) was founded in 2016 in Buenos Aires, El Zar has established itself as one of the most influential voices of the new generation of Latin American rock music. With a fresh, melodic sound deeply rooted in the traditions of Argentine rock, the band has been captivating a steadily growing audience far beyond its home country.

The year 2023 marked a turning point in El Zar’s career. A sold-out concert at the legendary Teatro Gran Rex, followed by an international tour through Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain, turned the year into a triumph. The grand finale was a memorable show for 5,000 fans at Estadio Obras in Buenos Aires.

In 2024, the band continued its international rise, performing at top festivals such as Cosquín Rock, Lollapalooza, and Rock en Baradero. The tour expanded to new markets across Europe, Central, and South America, including Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama, and Guatemala.

Looking Ahead to 2025:

In April 2025, El Zar released their long-awaited new studio album, preceded by three singles, including a powerful collaboration with No Te Va Gustar.

With the new album in tow, El Zar is now embarking on a major international tour — the "Paradiso Tour 2025" — with stops across Latin America, Europe, and for the first time, Germany.
