Between tangibility and the unimaginable, "Unusual Phase" positions itself as an

exhibition that transforms analog painting while opening up new artistic realms. For

Roman Lipski, quantum physics is not a distant scientific concept, but a living field

of inspiration.

He has long been regarded as a pioneer in the artistic engagement with

technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum processes, an artist who

does not resist the future, but embraces it as a field of possibility. Yet his most

essential creative tool remains himself.

In this exhibition, Lipski does not attempt to present a definitive image of quantum

physics, nor to explain it in its entirety. Rather, for him it embodies a form of

freedom, the freedom to extend his universe of inspiration into the infinite. In doing

so, he gathers impressions from a world of such complexity that ever more

structures continuously emerge.

Unusual Phase marks a new chapter in Roman Lipski’s artistic practice. While

remaining deeply committed to analog painting, he establishes a synergy with

quantum algorithms. The works are still created in a traditional manner, using

brush and paint on canvas. Quantum technology does not appear as a visible tool

or installation, but as a conceptual point of reference. It is precisely in this restraint

that a parallel to the quantum world itself emerges: a realm that eludes direct

perception, and whose inaccessibility gives rise to a particular fascination.

The exhibited works invite viewers to determine for themselves to what extent they

are willing to enter this new world, and what kind of relationship they choose to

form with it.

Thinking in quantum terms can open our eyes to previously unimaginable

possibilities for understanding art and beyond.

This exhibition marks the beginning of a series that explores the use of quantum

technology in art, inspiring both known and yet undiscovered worlds that lie ahead.
