farmar is the solo project of Amadeus Austrian Music Award-winning producer and songwriter Mario Fartacek. An indispensable figure in the Austrian music scene, Fartacek has established himself as a renowned producer, sounddesigner, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter.

Over the past few years, he has collaborated with and produced for artists such as Steaming Satellites, Telquist, Mynth, Carson Coma, Please Madame, Pippa, Berglind, Bon Jour,Siamese Elephants, and Crispies. Beyond his solo work, Mario is also recognized as one half of the electro-pop duo Mynth, as well as a member of the bands Bon Jour and GoodWilson.With farmar, Fartacek creates a sound world driven by pulsating beats, hypnotic synth layers, and atmospheric textures. His music unfolds in thespace between the emotional gravity of electronica, the organic energy oflive instrumentation, and the playful curiosity of experimental indie–evoking a world where Moderat and Animal Collective could cross paths. It is a sonic exploration of inner restlessness, where tension turns into momentum, carried by repetitive grooves and immersive, cinematic sounddesign.
