josepha wawaa expresses herself through different art forms and is not willing to compromise, because this is personal. Her songs are like her own mantras, whereby she always plays with breaks to subvert expectations or categories. She loves to experiment and not take herself too seriously. As she comes from a theatrical background, she wants to create multidimensional evenings, to welcome you into her world, expand your consciousness and create new spiritual spaces where every feeling is allowed. On a New Year’s Eve jam session she met Miron Raczka on drums and Leonard Wöllner on bass who she felt immediately connected musically. Shortly after that, great musicians came into her life who she invited to play in her project as well, such as Perry Sappir on keys, Gabriel Gaby on percussion and Lorena Marfo on backing vocals. As they perform you can see that they speak the same language. Her music is influenced by neo-soul und hip-hop.

It’s all about the wawaa: the wave, the frequency, the feeling.
