Martin Volman (*1989, Buenos Aires) is an artist and researcher who works with, about and against the photographic medium.

He holds a BA in Sociology and an MSc in Design Research.

Martin has been part of Klasse Selichar (Fotografie in Öffentlichen Raum, Kunstuniversität Linz) and received the PAC Photo Grant. He studied documentary photography at the International Centre of Photography (ICP) and has participated in workshops with renowned artists such as Ariel Authier, Bruno Dubner, Alberto Goldenstein, Jorge Miño, Rosana Schoijett, Alfredo Srur, and Hito Steyerl, among others.

His projects have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, as well as biennials in Argentina, Austria, Germany, Greece, North Macedonia, Russia, Uruguay, and Switzerland, and his work is held in private collections.

He lives in Berlin
