Maximilian Neretin is a young designer, artist and photographer based in Hamburg, Germany. In his photographic practice he experiments with the medium playfully, specifically with light, editing and staging. Max is very interested in telling fictional, surreal stories which are based on science fiction themes. He creates his own realities, which are related to social-economic and political issues.

He studies photography in Hamburg in the classes of Prof. Vincent Kohlbecher and Prof. Linn Schröder. In Jerusalem he has been in the class of Prof. Miki Kratsman. His work got published multiple times in the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, in Kraftwerk Bille, in Design Zentrum Hamburg, in the kultur&gut gallery and at the Neo Fashion Show in Berlin.
