SLICK OYSTER is a one-person powerhouse from Leipzig- writing, producing and performing everything solo. Blending soulful, funky Electronic Indie with intricate guitar work and deep, cool grooves, their sound is equal parts raw and refined.

It's not about fitting in- it's about carving out space that feels true.

Music started early, with piano lessons from their grandma. At 15, a guitar entered the picture- and everything changed. From there it was anything they could get their hands on: different percussions, the didgeridoo, flutes, bass, synth. Jam sessions turned into bands. Bands turned into shows. And in 2022, SLICK OYSTER stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist.

This isn’t just music—it’s movement. It’s queerness, power, vulnerability, rhythm, and rebellion. It’s biking from Germany to Greece as a reset. It’s tripping through the Lacandon Jungle. It’s every offbeat experience turned into a beat that hits.

On May 16 2025, Slick Oyster released their debut single SORCERESS, a sweet and seductive groove that pulls you in slow and leaves you smiling like someone just cast a spell you don’t mind falling under.

The full album, LOVE : OCEANS, follows on September 12, both released under SONIC LOOM RECORDS. The project dives deep into themes of queer love, oceanic longing, and personal transformation—all carried by tight grooves and playful songwriting.
