Tunkuy is an artistic project by Iván Jaque, a Mexican producer with Chilean roots. His music reflects his particular taste for dub, enriched with elements of the electronic world. Tunkuy’s journey has led him to build a unique soundscape that is as close to dub and dancehall as it is to spiritual music and latin rhythms. Everything that surrounds his project pays respect and homage to his origins. His debut album "Pulmari" describes the diverse landscapes of remote communities in South America and connects them with the ceremonial syncretism and pilgrimages of northern cultures.
