Anika aka Annika Henderson is a hybrid artist: author, composer, musician, DJ, photographer, radio presenter and video director. With her experimental sound collages, confrontational texts and her unique way of performing live solo, the former journalist has made a name for herself in the electronic music scene and collaborated with artists such as Gudrun Gut and Beate Bartel (Malaria!, Liaisons Dangereuses), Tricky, Jim Jarmusch, Shackleton and the Soundwalk Kollektiv. She interweaves dub, post-punk and psychedelic with a hint of drum and bass and a strong emphasis on the voice.
