The band Blond released their third album"Ich träum doch nur von Liebe" on 23.05.2025 and are currently on a tour of the same name through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

With the majority of this year's concerts already sold out, the band has now announced additional shows for next year! The Blondinators can look forward to 14 new tour stops and two of their own open airs in the summer - tickets for the "Ich träum doch nur von Liebe Tour 2026" and open airs are now available at Krasser Stoff and Eventim.

If you've never been to a Blond concert, you've never lived. At some point, everyone has stumbled into a club or festival and been sucked into the incredible world of Lotta, Johann and Nina - only to strut in loud and proud in a glittery outfit the next time.

After just a few minutes, you realize that a Blond concert is a goddamn mass. After one and a half rounds, you've got the fan chants down pat - and you don't stop singing them even when you've long since been swept out by security. You sigh along to sweet pop crooning as you take off into distant spheres, stomp your foot to militant anthems and let yourself be grounded. Blond songs are appropriately bitter, but they also always have embracing irony ready for you, which lets you leave the mass in a cheerful mood and confident of victory.

1. who is behind the band Blond and where do they come from?

Blond consists of the sisters Lotta and Nina Kummer and Johann Bonitz, who climbed cherry trees with the sisters as a child. The band comes from Chemnitz and has been active since 2011. By the way: Nina and Lotta are the younger sisters of Felix and Till Kummer, who play with Kraftklub - so music runs in the family with the Kummers!

2. what makes Blond a particularly political and social band?

Blond are a decidedly feminist band who convey their attitude with humor and warmth. Songs like "Girl Boss" take an ironic look at consumer-driven pseudo-feminism. The band is actively involved in its home region, including a concert for the Queer Feminist Fight Day in Zwickau, and is committed to networking and open-mindedness.

3. are there any special or crazy actions by Blond?

Yes, definitely! For the release of their album "Perlen" in 2023, Blond organized pre-listening sessions in swimming pools in Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden and Cologne, where fans could literally listen to the album under water in advance. To promote their third album, they also organized a free funfair called TRAUMLAND in four German cities.

In addition to the band, Nina and Lotta Kummer run the successful weekly podcast "Da muss man dabei gewesen sein", in which they speak unadulterated Saxon and thus actively convey a self-confident image of their East German identity. They even went on tour with it in October 2024.
