Maustetytöt create an unmistakable sound that combines irresistibly catchy melodies with impressively realistic, emotionally touching lyrics. Their debut single "Tein kai lottorivini väärin", released in early 2019, quickly became a modern classic, reaching over 10 million streams and establishing the duo as a fresh and captivating voice on the Finnish music scene. Probably the most fascinating introduction to the world of Maustetytöt, however, are their unique music videos.

Since their debut single, Maustetytöt has released four studio albums, all of which are among the best-selling albums in Finland. Numerous awards, gold and platinum records and hundreds of sold-out concerts have further cemented their status as one of the country's most popular and successful bands.

The duo also gained international fame through their collaboration with legendary director Aki Kaurismäki on his acclaimed film "Fallen Leaves". This partnership made their music accessible to a wider audience beyond Finland. Maustetytöt has been touring Europe extensively since 2023. Her growing international profile is reflected in coverage by leading global media outlets, including The New York Times, The Guardian, Vogue and Rolling Stone.

In March 2026, Maustetytöt released her fourth studio album and continues to tour internationally.
