In the artist's words:

Building on his music studies at the Cologne University of Music and Dance (instrumental pedagogy, orchestral music and trumpet concert exam), his journey led him more and more into musical freedom and improvisation through intensive study of yoga, meditation and rhythm work.
He initially worked as a freelance musician and as a lecturer at the HfMT Cologne, the Rheinische Musikschule Cologne and the University of Siegen. In 2004, he won a prize at the Passau International Brass Competition. His spiritual path began when trumpeter Markus Stockhausen introduced him to yoga and meditation. In 2004, he completed his four-year BDY yoga teacher training with Leopoldo Chariarse and completed his "TaKeTiNa® Advanced Training" with Reinhard Flatischler in 2013.
He has been giving workshops and courses in yoga and TaKeTiNa since 2004, including at the Munich Conservatory, Basel Conservatory and Mozarteum Salzburg. He regularly offers courses at the HfMT Cologne, the Rhythm Temple Tajet Garden and the Brotfabrik Bonn. More information and dates at www.rhythmuskreis.de

"My deepest desire is to enable people to arrive at their natural state of being, which is always available to us within ourselves, by meditating and making music together. There, controlling thinking becomes silent and presence and groundless happiness prevail. When people enter into a relationship with each other from this place, connection, a shared groove and pure joie de vivre are created. And what more do we need - especially in this day and age?"
