The best mojitos in town - Cologne
Mint, lime, rum, cane sugar and soda water - a simple formula for a vacation feeling and bliss. The mojito is one of the most popular cocktails, which we have used as an opportunity to introduce you to our five best bars where you can get incredibly good mojitos :
Rosebud: Sip your mojito in the beautiful courtyard
A little hidden away on Rathenauplatz you will find Rosebud, which has been around for 28 years. Since the beginning of the year, the bar, which was named after the movie Citizen Kane, has been run by two new owners. In a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, you can sip delicious and high-quality mojitos (and other cocktails) - there is even a mojito variant with elderflower syrup, which tastes a little sweeter and we can absolutely recommend. What we particularly liked during our visit was the relaxed atmosphere and the cozy and homely ambience. There's a kind of casual pub vibe here - sneakers and jeans are the order of the day, and now that it's summer, you should definitely sit outside with your drink - cozy wooden benches and lots of plants adorn the quiet courtyard. The cocktails are served with glass straws and, wherever possible, care is taken to ensure that all the food is processed.

Ona Mor: The sizzling mojito
*knock, knock* - "Who's there?" Don't worry, this isn't a bad joke I'm about to tell you, but the entrance to ONA MOR: to enter the cozy little bar, you have to knock on the door. The staff don't do this to select who comes in, but to be able to greet and welcome everyone personally. And this warm, cordial approach to the guests continues throughout your visit: before you order, you get your own advice on what cocktail might suit you and can order your own tailor-made cocktail according to your preferences. Which is also incredibly fun, but we were mainly here for the "Mojos", the signature mojito, which is only available in this form at ONA MOR. In addition to lime, Cuban rum, sugar and soda water, this special mojito contains a homemade apple foam (super tasty) and crackling soda (what's on the cactus ice, only in fancy ;)). By the way: the cocktails are always accompanied by homemade truffle popcorn free of charge! So nothing stands in the way of a very special cocktail evening ;)

Little Link - the perfect balance between sweetness and acidity
Little Link in the Belgian Quarter has been around for almost five years now, during which time it has already won several awards for its cocktail artistry. With its casual industrial style, this bar invites you to sit with friends and try out cool new drinks. Because here the name says it all: Little Link is all about creating connections, between people, but above all between the bar and the kitchen. That's why they like to experiment here and you'll often discover ingredients in the drinks that you wouldn't expect to find in a cocktail. What makes the perfect mojito here? According to our bartender Maurice, a balance between sweetness and acidity, good ice and good mint. The mixture definitely convinced us: this mojito is really tasty and well worth the money! ;)

El-Inca: Thursday is Mojito Day
Someone is always out of the ordinary, and in this case it's El-Inca. It's not a bar, but a Peruvian restaurant and my absolute insider tip when it comes to good, cheap mojitos: every Thursday is "mojito day" here, meaning the cocktail only costs €4 all evening long! Not only is the price unbeatable, but also the drink itself - prepared with lots of love and plenty of fresh limes. Incidentally, this place is perfect if you really want to spend an evening without a smartphone and annoying Instastories: As El-Inca is located in the basement, you have no reception here at all ;)
Görresstraße 2, 50674 Cologne Daily from 18.00 - 24.00 Mojito: 4€ every Thursday
Chapmans: Strawberry, passion fruit or basil?
Surf feeling in the middle of the city: Chapmans offers not only great cocktails but also a real beach and surf atmosphere. In addition to classic cocktails such as caipirinha, Long Island ice tea and co., there are also unusual creations with spices, fresh fruit or chocolate. The Mojito is available here in four variations: Classic, with strawberry, passion fruit or basil. We were particularly impressed by the mojito with fresh basil because it brings a very surprising note to the otherwise rather sweet drink.
