Mit seinen wunderschön angelegten Wegen, Grünflächen und Gewässern, kennen wir ihn bis heute!

Thanks to its huge size and spaciousness, Rosental Park really has a lot to offer! This park is not only the perfect spot for a jog, a bike ride or a stroll through the woods. You can also relax here with a book under the beautiful park trees or have a picnic with your friends on the green areas. So if you thought that the Rosental was just a few unspectacular meadows, you were very much mistaken. There are also some really great events that regularly take place here - such as the free Airleben. And if that wasn't enough, in Rosental you can also admire the oldest tree in Leipzig and climb the so-called Wackelturm. So nostalgic feelings and incredible views are included here! In terms of cleanliness, the park also impressed us, with the exception of a few isolated barbecue facilities. The overall appearance of Rosental Park is really very clean and well maintained.   • Step 1: Ganz easy: Räum deinen Abfall weg und schmeiße ihn die orange-farbenen Container, die im gesamten Park verteilt stehen. 
  • Step 2: "Drop it like it's hot" – aber bitte nicht einfach auf die Wiese, sondern in die Tonne! Das heißt: entsorge deine Grillkohle bitte in den vorgesehenen Aschebehälter.
  • Step 3: Der absolute Pro-Tipp: nutze einfach Mehrweg Geschirr und Besteck. Das gibt's mittlerweile überall und in richtig stylischen Varianten! Plus: du hast am Ende fast gar keinen Abfall und der Park bleibt für uns alle sauber!

  • Abfall im orangefarbenen Container entsorgt? Seit April stehen wieder die typisch orangen Abfallsammelbehälter in den häufig genutzten Parks zur Verfügung. Um dem hohen Abfallaufkommen in den Sommermonaten entgegenzuwirken, hat die Stadtreinigung 37 Stück der 1.100-Liter- und 5 Stück der 240-Liter-Behälter im Clara-Park, Johannapark, Richard-Wagner-Hain, Lene-Voigt-Park, Friedenspark, Rabet, Mariannenpark und dem Rosental verteilt. Wichtig: Die Container sind nur für Parkabfälle gedacht, Haus-und Gartenabfälle müssen bitte weiterhin in eigenen Abfalltonnen beziehungsweise auf dem Wertstoffhof entsorgt werden ‼️
  • Grillasche in die vorgesehenen geworfen? Ein weiterer wichtiger Hinweis: Einweggrills sind in Leipzig laut Polizeiverordnung verboten. Grund dafür ist, dass der direkte Bodenkontakt der Einweggrills die Grasnarbe und Freizeitflächen schädigt. Darüber hinaus stellen sie eine hohe Umweltbelastung dar.
