"1st AMPFEST" with Ampyred, Barrel of Dirt and BOZ - Premiere!

Ampyred and guests invite you to a first-class evening of hard rock at TS right at the start of the year.
Guests at the premiere of the event initiated by Kassel power trio Ampyred include long-time local hard rock heroes Barrel of Dirt (formerly Pandemic) from northern Hesse and cover rockers BOZ from eastern Hesse.
Three bands where lush guitars and thunderous drums meet catchy vocals and will make the iconic Theaterstübchen shake.
While the guys from BOZ will kick off the evening with well-known anthems, Kassel-based BoD and Ampyred will then present mainly original material.
Look forward to an energetic performance right at the start of 2026!

Three seasoned musicians came together, learned to appreciate each other and decided to rock
to rock with shared chemistry.
The result was AMPYRED. Independent, handmade rock music, far away from all trends, the three musicians from Northern Hesse create music that they themselves would like to put on their turntables.

Barrel Of Dirt deliver honest, handmade rock with a lot of pressure - somewhere between a dusty whiskey bar in Texas and a party cellar in Kassel. The guys burn off a firework of earthy grooves, fat riffs and raw vocals - as if Motörhead and AC/DC had gotten stuck together with the Bigfoot in a rusty pickup truck in the North Hessian outback.
With scuffed boots on the gas and a dose of self-irony, Barrel Of Dirt blast their sound straight into your eardrums - honest, loud and with a wink. A must for fans of rock with character!

BOZ

Founded at the end of 2024, the band from Schlitz will give you cover rock you can't stand still to. Rocking out guaranteed, full on BOZ!

B.O.Z. was founded when the stage-experienced drummer Eric Engelhardt, formerly of Besom Ground, The NoTones and The Ugly Earthlings, met bassist Pascal Boucsein, formerly of Swedish Mental Hospital, and singer Christoph Bier, formerly of Bacabi, and everyone realized during the first jam that it just fit! They were joined by lead guitarist Lukas Pommerin, who sweeps across the fretboard with stylistic confidence on every guitar solo. Last but not least, Hannes Wagner rounds off the line-up on rhythm guitar.
Dedication, experience and above all a lot of fun making music characterize this band.
