The only time off that Tilda (Luna Wedler) can treat herself to is 22 lanes long. Otherwise, she leads a strictly timed life: Alongside her studies, she works in the supermarket to make ends meet and lovingly looks after her little sister Ida (Zoë Baier), with whom she lives with their alcoholic mother. Tilda takes over what her mother cannot give her family. Her friends have long since moved away from the small town and the summer also promises a change for Tilda: a promotion in Berlin suddenly seems possible. But just as a little freedom is on the horizon for her, the situation at home escalates ...
