At JAPANDULT, visitors embark on a journey to the land of the rising sun and can look forward to the art, culture, cuisine and lifestyle of Japan.
Munich's JAPANESE CULTURE FESTIVAL opened its doors for the first time in summer 2013 and has enjoyed an ever-growing fan base ever since.

On 14.12.25, the JAPANDULT will take place for the 22nd time, once again in the Alte Kongresshalle above the Theresienwiese. And this time again as a Christmas version with a curated, atmospheric cultural program, culinary tastings and creative workshops on origami, shibori dyeing and a samurai workshop.

Interest in Japanese culture and cuisine is growing among young and old.
Whether it's the flashy pop culture surrounding manga and anime for young people, the tasty Japanese food with takoyaki, ramen and okonomiyaki for foodies or the purist lifestyle for design fans. Japan is both style-defining and enchanting.
The diverse cultural program offers a number of highlights and allows the audience to immerse themselves in both traditional and modern Japan, the diversity and changeability of this culture.
