With his wit, his sharpness and his unmistakable language, Heinrich Heine continues to shape European literature to this day. The International Forum Junge Heine Forschung is building on this - with fresh perspectives, new works and exciting research approaches.

To mark the poet's birthday, the Heinrich Heine Institute, the Heinrich Heine Society and the Institute of German Studies at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf invite you to this special colloquium for the 28th time.

An interested audience is very welcome when young academics present their perspectives on Heine. Following the presentations, actor Thomas Karl Hagen will recite selected Heine texts.
