Aladin und die Wunderlampe

A bored princess goes astray and falls in love with Aladdin, an unpolished but rather clever dreamer. An evil sorcerer strives for world domination. The Sultan promises everyone whatever suits him, because: "That's the way it is in politics". And the grand vizier wants nothing more than to marry the princess and get rid of his rival as quickly as possible. It's a good thing that Aladdin has the magic lamp, which makes him master of a rather loud-mouthed but powerful genie - but when the magician tricks him into taking the lamp, it's not just Aladdin's life that is in danger.

In his new version of the famous fairy tale from "1001 Nights", Peter Raffalt combines the familiar motifs of the story with modern elements to create a poetic adventure.
