Lecture by Reinhard Pantke

In 2022, globetrotter and travel journalist Reinhard Pantke cycled over 6,500 kilometers from northern Germany to the North Cape - using only muscle power and 35 kilograms of luggage. In five months, his journey took him through four Nordic countries, along remote back roads, past magnificent landscapes and through the lonely expanses of Scandinavia.

His journey began in May on the Herrenhaus route via the Danish islands of Funen and Langeland. Passing idyllic castles and manor houses, it continues to eastern Sweden with detours to Öland and Gotland. From there, the journey takes him via the Åland Islands to Finland, where he cycles more than 1,000 kilometers through Lapland into the untouched wilderness of the north.
A good half of the lecture is dedicated to Norway. Over 2,500 kilometers along the Norwegian coast, the audience can expect spectacular impressions of the North Cape, the Lofoten Islands, the legendary Road 17 - one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world - and the majestic fjords.

Reinhard Pantke takes the audience on his extraordinary journey with gripping stories, impressive pictures and funny anecdotes. At the end, the audience can expect autumnal impressions from Dalsland and Värmland as well as a view of the wintry north of Sweden.
