6:56 – Fotoausstellung zum 7. Oktober 2023

In the organizer's words:

As part of our series in memory of the genocidal massacre by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

6:56 a.m.: A Hamas terrorist smashes a window at the reception building of the Be'eri kibbutz with his rifle. A surveillance camera captures this moment, which marks the beginning of the end in Be'eri. The residents of the kibbutz had already been woken up half an hour earlier by rocket alarms and muffled rocket hits - sounds that most of those living in the kibbutzim near the border with Gaza have long since become accustomed to.

In the exhibition 6:56 (link), the German-Israeli Society Würzburg is showing photographs from November 2023 that document the extent of the violence in the kibbutzim of Be'eri, Re'im and Nir Oz.

Free admission. The exhibition is not suitable for children. The space is dedicated to remembering - we do not accept disturbances and have prepared a corresponding protection concept.
