Anniversary exhibition from September 30 to November 14, 2025

To celebrate its 95th anniversary, the Secession of Munich Photographers (SML) invites you to a special exhibition: "Photographic Journey through Time" shows works from nine decades of the association's history - from early black and white photographs to current photographic positions. The exhibition documents not only the development of photographic technique and visual language, but also the city of Munich in all its facets - historically, culturally and socially.

The show pays tribute to the work of the members whose work has helped shape Munich's visual memory. It shows how photographic forms of expression have changed over time - always in the field of tension between artistic aspiration and documentary precision.
