On the 25th anniversary of George Harrison's death, Hamburg's Beatles specialist Stefanie Hempel and her Silver Spoons - Billy King and Ben Barritt - pay tribute to the youngest Beatle, his great songs and his great spirit. In their very special night for George Harrison, they will travel through his work, linking the most beautiful songs and melodies with the most beautiful and weirdest stories, secrets and craziness from his life.

It will be a colorful journey. They celebrate George's love of rock'n'roll, his Beatles sound with lots of George guitars, the great ballads, his solo work and his favorite instrument, the ukulele. From "Taxman" to "Here Comes The Sun" to "My Sweet Lord" and "All Things Must Pass"... The great hits and many songs to rediscover and rediscover.

As special guest we welcome FRIEDRICH PARAVICINI on a whole armada of instruments: Wurlitzer, Mellotron, organ, cello, bass, harmonica and the mysterious Ondes Martenot.

The essence of "Magic George" remains brilliant and unfathomable - quiet, close and somehow astonishingly present. His music, the sound of his voice have something melancholic, longing, something irresistibly devoted. "The quiet Beatle" is extremely quick-witted, funny, very dry and often very grumpy. It
was not easy for him to be a Beatle. The grumpiness accompanied him throughout his life... and gave the Beatles a wonderful grounding.
