POP JEWELS OF THE GERMAN ECONOMIC MIRACLE YEARS.

ROUNDED OFF WITH ENGLISH ROCK AND POP HITS OF THE TIME.

NOW THE PARTY REALLY GETS GOING!

THE VS-BERLINER COMES BACK TO THE KATZENSTÜBLE WITH HIS PROGRAM "SCHLAGER-JUWELEN DER DEUTSCHEN WIRTSCHAFTSWUNDER-JAHRE"

At the end of 2014, the legendary Villingen cult band "Cock's Combo" retired after 35 years. Dieter Hahne - founder, namesake and boss of this popular band - assumed that he would never play actively on a Villingen stage again. However, he was thoroughly mistaken! Because at the beginning of September 2025, he - who has lived in Berlin for decades - made a brilliant stage comeback in his home town of Villingen at the Katzenstüble "Zur hoorige Katz". Shortly after the announcement, the two scheduled concerts were completely sold out, the atmosphere in the audience was buzzing and the program of German Wirtschaftswunder hits hit like a bomb! And this new edition will take place on May 8 and 9, 2026 - and the whole thing will of course take place in the Katzenstüble "Zur hoorige Katz" again!

After Dieter Hahne had guitar lessons in the early 1960s with the busy cat music performer Rudi Streit (he is the author of the cat music song "Der Kater hält die Wacht"), he also taught him his first - then current - pop songs. But one day, Hahne put down the classical guitar school and instead of etudes and hits, he now played Beatles and Rolling Stones songs and shortly afterwards, he and two classmates founded one of the first Villingen beat bands. This was to be followed by others. The most popular were "The Be Nice" and "The Rope Sect". At the same time, Hahne was involved in the jazz club and later became the manager of the Jazzkeller in Webergasse. At the same time, he joined the legendary jazz record company MPS Records. In 1975 he moved to Berlin and was employed by the jazz label FMP/Free Music Production. After a few years of retirement, he resumed his work at Free Music Production, which continues to this day. Hahne also played guitar and bass in rock groups in Berlin - most recently with "Rumble Pie" and "Vintage Two".

And how did the rediscovery of Wirtschaftswunder hitscome about after so many years of rock and jazz ?

In spring 2024, Hahne had a private performance in Rheinsberg, Brandenburg. The plan was to perform a program of rock and pop oldies from the 1960s and 1970s. But shortly before the performance, he spontaneously decided to perform old pop hits from the German economic miracle years. And this program struck a chord with the audience. It was a huge success! A little later, the first public appearance with the "ollen Klamotten" followed in the Kreuzberg neighborhood pub "Henkel-Stuben" - this performance was also crowned with success. Since then, Hahne has been touring Berlin's pubs and bars with the hits of the economic miracle.

And what can the audience at the Katzenstüble expect?

The audience can look forward to such high-caliber hits of the German economic miracle years as Vico Torriani, Peter Hinnen, Danyel Gerard, Gus Backus, Freddy Quinn, Catarina Valente, Bill Ramsey, Billy Mo, Drafi Deutscher, Rex Gildo, Rocco Granata, Conny Froboess, Manuela, Conny Francis and and and...!

As usual, "Dieter Hahne alias The Cock" succeeds in capturing the feeling of life back then - with a humorous wink and a good dose of self-irony.

In addition, there are hand-picked Anglo-American rock and pop oldies of the time.
