With more than 1000 songs and a career spanning over 60 years, Udo Jürgens (1934-2014) is one of the greatest solo artists in the German-speaking world. His music goes far beyond pop hits: many of his songs are socially critical, political and poetic at the same time.

Tirzah Haase and Armine Ghuloyan present an evening that pays tribute not only to the great hits, but also to lesser-known, profound songs. Framed by biographical insights and original quotes from the artist, the result is a program that shows the "other" Udo Jürgens - interpreted with expressive vocals and virtuoso piano arrangements.
