The (primarily financial) challenges facing cultural organizations, especially theaters and North Rhine-Westphalia, are becoming ever more noticeable and constantly increasing. Cultural professionals, audiences and cultural politicians are gradually having to ask themselves the question: Does theater still have a future at all?

Claudia Schmitz from the German Stage Association, Marie Heeschen from the theater trade union GDBA and Cornel Hüsch, the chairman of the Rheinisches Landestheater's supporting association, will be talking to you about this. The long-standing dramaturge and cultural journalist Wolfgang Behrens will moderate the evening.
