Dear friends, dear Blues&Boogie fans,

It's hard to believe - least of all myself: I'm actually turning 80!
Well, let's celebrate this Wallenstein milestone with a unique BIG BIRTHDAY CONCERT!

On the stage of the FABRIK there will actually be over 50 musicians with whom I have a long, intensive and enriching friendship. And with whom I have traveled a: Long And Winding Blues-Road over the decades.
Such a blues journey simply has no end, there is no final destination. We are always discovering new facets of the blues. We are always excited and eager to meet a new audience.

Yes, our audience - all of you - accompany us on this journey, give us so much in return, so much energy, and yes, love too. You can get addicted. And: You are honest and incorruptible, you let us know when we are not in such a good mood, when a solo goes wrong.

The BIG BIRTHDAY CONCERT will take place in the FABRIK, with which I am so emotionally connected, one of those magical locations where everything really began for me.

The concert will be a kind of BLUES REVUE, like the ones that used to take place at the Apollo Theatre in New York: Changing line-ups, smaller and larger acts, musicians who in some cases have never played together before. Around a dozen of these formations will present their versions of the: Good Rocking Blues&Boogie Woogie.

Hey, let's celebrate my 80th with ecstasy and make the factory shake!
