Acid King - Busse Woods European Tour 2026

For over 30 years, Lori S. has been flying the flag as the grand master of heavy guitar riffs with her band Acid King. Even though the line-up has constantly changed alongside her, she is the constant that made Acid King one of the pioneers of stoner-doom. Founded in San Francisco in 1993, they came up trumps with a mix of heavy proto-metal from the 70s and a cloudy, viscously rolling elemental force, as cultivated by their contemporaries from Sleep and Electric Wizard. They were one of the signature bands on Frank Kozik's Mans Ruin label, on which their highly acclaimed, genre-defining album "Busse Woods" was released in 1999. And even though their last two albums ventured into psychedelic territory - not least through their collaboration with Black Cobra guitarist Jason Landrian - they always remained true to their very own sound. As part of a short visit to Europe in early summer 2026, they will be coming to Germany in the line-up of Lori S. (guitar / vocals), Bryce Shelton (bass) and Jimmy Perez (drums) for just three concerts, and we are delighted to be able to present them to you once again in Dresden!
