🚲 Ciao traffic jam - more space for your bike! 🚲

We say: It's time for a real traffic turnaround - and for that we need bold decisions, more cycle paths and a fairer distribution of public space.

With "Ciao traffic jams", we are saying goodbye to the idea that traffic jams are unavoidable or "normal". Good cycling infrastructure creates alternatives, relieves road congestion and improves the quality of life in cities and regions. Every person who dares to cycle safely potentially replaces a car in a traffic jam - that is real relief for everyone.

"More space for cycling" means: wide, safe cycle paths, comfortable and continuous networks, parking facilities, fast cycle paths and traffic-calmed areas. We are fighting for cities and regions in which people can move freely and safely - regardless of age, budget or mobility restrictions.

The NRW bicycle rally sends out a visible signal: Together we are reclaiming the roads and showing that cycling is fun, climate-friendly and makes our cities and regions more liveable. Every participation is a contribution to better mobility and a better quality of life.

• 14:30 Rally Königsallee, level with Corneliusplatz
• 15:00 Tour through Düsseldorf approx. 15 km, with police escort
• 18:00 Finish and end
