Atmospheric highlight in the heart of Osnabrück

On the St. Nicholas weekend, December 5 and 6, 2025, the old town will be transformed into an atmospheric Christmas area. With festive lighting, Christmas sounds, small events and arts and crafts, a very special Advent stroll is created.

On Friday, December 5, Eddie Arndt will provide the musical accompaniment:
The singer/songwriter from Dortmund, has been on the handmade acoustic music scene for many years. As the singer and guitarist of the folk duo BARDIC, he has thrilled audiences for over 21 years - at well over 1000 concerts in Germany and abroad, including as tour support for Jethro Tull and at Folk im Viertel in Osnabrück's old town.

As a solo artist, Eddie Arndt has already impressed audiences with his engaging music and likeable appearance at numerous concerts and as an opening act for well-known artists such as Ron Sexsmith, The Proclaimers and Poems For Laila, as well as with live appearances on WDR radio.

In his program "Songs I Can Sing And Play On Guitar At The Same Time", he uses his charismatic, slightly raspy voice and the powerful foundation of his guitar to perform his own compositions as well as selected songs from folk, blues, Americana and rock/pop that have made music history or are simply great. Of course, this Advent show also includes one or two Christmas songs.

5, 6 and 7 p.m. for approx. 30 minutes in front of the Lagerhalle (in the foyer in bad weather).

Taiko, Japanese drumming with Ryuu Daiko!
Anyone who has ever experienced a live performance by a taiko group,
will surely remember the combination of powerful percussion, sophisticated choreography and synchronized movement of the players. The Osnabrück group will be presenting their skills on Saturday, December 6 at 15:30, 16:30 and 17:30 in front of the Lagerhalle. (In case of bad weather in the foyer.)

The AG925 jewelry exhibition will also be open on Saturday in the Spitzboden. Our catering service will be preparing delicious Christmas drinks and food.
