Following the presentation of the International Stefan Heym Prize, the after-show party will kick off the 35th Days of Jewish Culture in Chemnitz at the event location "die fabrik". The start of this year's festival will be celebrated together - with a live performance and DJ set.
The artistic prelude will be provided by aerialist Tanya Borysenko, who combines elegance and acrobatic movement to create an impressive stage show.
Musician, author and DJ Yuriy Gurzhy will provide the evening's musical entertainment. With his record collection, he will take the audience on a musical journey through the international klezmer scene and beyond. Born in Kharkiv, the artist has lived in Berlin for many years and is known for his numerous music and cultural projects. From 1999 to 2014, he organized the legendary party series "Russendisko" in the capital together with Wladimir Kaminer
