What opportunities arise when we take responsibility?

With the theme "[not] my responsibility", the students of the Technical University of Munich invite you to the AJA 2025. In an open discussion, they ask what possibilities architecture creators have to improve the world and to see architecture in a larger context. Architecture is never neutral. It is always influenced by social, political, financial and ecological factors

From October 6 to 11, 2025, visitors can expect a week full of inspiration, perspectives and encounters - with selected student projects, workshops, open discussion rounds, panel talks and exciting guests from practice, research and politics.

The individual days are structured according to the topics: Participation, Housing, Costs, Teaching and Transformation.

Everyone is invited: The AJA is aimed at anyone who is interested in how architecture can influence our environment. Students, experts, people interested in the city, cultural professionals - and anyone who is interested in exchanging ideas, new perspectives or simply an open space for ideas. The exhibition is accompanied by a café and invites you to linger.
