With the art project "Sangre de mi Sangre" we want to set a powerful sign - a sign of remembrance, solidarity and resistance. Every day in Mexico, countless families demand justice for their missing daughters, sisters and mothers. Behind every number of femicides is a unique life, a destroyed community, a tear in the social fabric.

In this context, art becomes a political and spiritual practice: it is individual and collective resistance.

Artistic forms of expression create collective spaces in which pain can be shared, voices can be heard and grief can be transformed into action. Where official institutions fail and the voices of those affected are silenced, collective art projects such as this one rise up as a counterforce. Weaving together is more than just an act of craftsmanship - it is a deeply symbolic act.

Each thread that joins with others stands for the cooperation of people who oppose violence and injustice. In this way, the fabric becomes a collective body of resistance: it preserves the memory of the disappeared, it strengthens the survivors and their relatives, and it creates a visible, tangible symbol of hope.

Art cannot bring back lives - but it can heal communities, make solidarity visible and make the demand for justice unmistakable.
