In times of news overload, there is a need for occasions to provide focused information and reflection on topics. This is what Aktuelle Stunde offers: two experts from science and journalism talk for 60 minutes in a balanced and differentiated way about the political topics of the week that are currently affecting society. At regular intervals, our Aktuelle Stunde therefore offers an event format in which currently important and burning issues can be discussed in detail and with calm and background.

This time's guest in the SOCIETY ROOM: Ursula Münch, political scientist and director of the Academy for Political Education in Tutzing: the "political savant" (Münchner Merkur) is not only a popular interview guest on TV and in newspapers, but also speaks on podiums throughout Bavaria to explain the political context and background. We also welcome Deutschlandradio journalist Korbinian Frenzel. He describes himself as a "citizen at the microphone" and as such he speaks every lunchtime in "Studio 9" with a wide variety of guests from politics, media and culture about the current issues of the day. Ursula Münch and Korbinian Frenzel celebrate the end of the year together in the GESELLSCHAFTSRAUM and look back with us on the most formative political developments of 2025.
