albania. hopeful horizons & burdened lands
Between emerging hope and the burdens of an eventful history, this exhibition opens up a multi-layered view of Albania. The works on display interweave themes such as environmental protection, human rights and social change and place them in relation to a country that is repositioning itself in the field of tension between past and future.
The photographs and videos paint a picture of landscapes in upheaval, of people fighting for their rights and of a future that seems both fragile and promising. "Albania. hopeful horizons & burdened lands" invites you to see Albania's complex reality - and the hope that grows within it.
