Albrecht Mayer's oboe sound is legendary: no wonder he has been one of the most sought-after musicians of our time for decades, both as principal oboist with the Berliner Philharmoniker and as a concert soloist and chamber musician. With a distinctive program revolving around French chamber music from the first half of the 20th century, the busy star oboist now returns to Münster for an evening after a long time. He will be joined by the solo bassoonist of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Theo Plath, and the accomplished pianist Fabian Müller, both multiple winners of the ARD competition.
