Alejandro Perrone (Tango Argentino)

The Argentinian singer Alejandro Perrone continues to perform in Europe and presents tangos, boleros and zambas, now also in Mannheim. He presents himself with guitar in memory of the greatest role models of Argentinian music.
Alejandro Perrone was born in the Caballito district of Buenos Aires. Following the family tradition - his mother was a singer and his grandfather was first violinist at the Teatro Colón - his passion for music began at a very young age. He studied guitar, piano, harmony and singing. He began his career with tango and took part in competitions and shows in his neighborhood. In 1997, he took part in the Hugo del Carril competition and won it. Thanks to this award, he performed several times with the Buenos Aires City Tango Orchestra. Having already made a name for himself as a tango singer, he recorded his first album "Contrast", which was released by Epsa Music. He has worked with renowned conductors such as Raúl Garello, Carlos Garcia, Cristian Zarate, Juan Pugliano and Carlos Buono. He participated in Mora Godoy's Tango Company in the show Tangorama and also performed in Michelangelo and This Is Tango, with which he toured nationwide. He has also performed at Piazzolla Tango, Club del Vino, CAFÉ Homero, Centro, Cultural de la Cooperación, Teatro and Alvear, to name but a few. He has toured Europe, Colombia and the United States.
