Canadian singer-songwriter in Germany for three shows this fall

Alexander Stewart writes soulful songs from his heart. It is therefore no surprise that love is a major theme within the lyrics of the singer-songwriter from Toronto. Originally, Alexander Stewart only posted cover songs on YouTube before developing into a solo musician. From 2018, he found his way into the charts and TV shows, such as Jimmy Fallon's, just as quickly as on lists such as Spotify's Pop Rising Artists To Watch or TikTok's The Hitmakers, where he landed at number 2 of the most watched artists in Canada in 2023, thanks to several singles, three EPs and an album. Alexander Stewart achieved his final breakthrough with his emotional ballads "blame's on me" and "i wish you cheated" from his 2024 debut album "bleeding heart", which have become the singer's most successful tracks to date since their release and resonate with his fans worldwide, not least because of their identification potential. After two nominations at the JUNO Awards 2024, around 1 billion global streams, 400 million YouTube views and 160 million likes on TikTok, as well as tours with Charlie Puth, Benson Boone and Eric Nam, Alexander Stewart is coming to Europe in the fall with his Here Again Tour. He will be performing live in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich at the end of November.

Alexander Stewart began publishing cover songs on his YouTube channel in 2013 at the age of 13. After a cover of Camila Cabello's "Havana" went viral in 2018, he decided to write and upload his own songs. Since the release of his debut single "Enamorado" in 2018, Alexander Stewart has impressed with his songwriting. In 2019, he featured on Shaggy's single "You" and celebrated great success in the same year with his cover of Beyoncé's "Halo". 2020 saw the release of his debut EP "Backwards", which quickly became the artist's first hit with the track of the same name. Further standout singles such as "House of Cards" and "24 Hours" from his EP "Aftermath" (2021) consolidated his status, which he expanded with hit singles such as "echo" and "blame's on me" in 2022. His songs "leave me in the dark", "I'm trying" and the breakthrough single "i wish you cheated" continued his success in 2023 and were initially bundled together on the "if you only know" EP. In 2024, the debut album "bleeding heart" was finally released, which was nominated for a JUNO Award for Pop Album of the Year, while he himself was nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. In 2024, the musician also collaborated with DJs Two Friends on the song "Wrong Way", which reached number 1 in the US Billboard Dance Charts. With his song "Here Again" , Alexander Stewart began a new chapter in June 2025 and for the first time hinted at a second album, which is due to be released at the end of 2025 and whose official announcement is eagerly awaited.
