When the Alexander Wittges Trio takes to the stage, musical passion meets sensitive improvisation. Founded in 2025, the trio stands for soulful and dynamic interpretations of jazz standards as well as original compositions by Alexander Wittges.

On the piano, Wittges combines lyrical playing with rhythmic sophistication and a noticeable proximity to the lively Bavarian jazz scene. Korbinian Renner on bass provides the harmonic foundation with a clear tone and stylistic versatility, while Manuela Klausz on drums opens up the sound space with a fine sense of timing, groove and dynamics. Together they create a warm, transparent jazz atmosphere with room for improvisation and musical dialog.

For the Uferlos Festival, the trio will be joined by singer Tobias Eschenbacher. After playing in various formations - most recently in the regular line-up of the "Shakers Bluesband" until 2012 - he took a longer break for professional reasons. Now he returns to the stage with great pleasure. As a self-confessed Sinatra lover, he interprets classics with a sonorous voice and a twinkle in his eye.

The audience can expect a swinging start to the evening - jazz standards in the style of Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra, lively, authentic and with a palpable joy of playing.

The Uferlos Festival, which connects generations, provides the ideal setting for this. An afternoon for friends, acquaintances - and anyone who might want to become one.
