In Mumbai, nurse Prabha's everyday life is thrown off kilter when she receives a surprise gift from her husband in Germany. While Prabha is estranged from him, her younger roommate, newly in love, is looking for space for togetherness with her boyfriend. By chance, the women discover a place on the beach where their longings are to be fulfilled. Alternative: Nurse Prabha lives in Mumbai with her younger colleague and roommate Anu. Prabha is estranged from her husband and tries to forget her past life. Instead, she throws herself into work. When Prabha receives an unexpected gift from her husband, it throws her life into turmoil. Meanwhile, the carefree Anu is looking for a place in the city where she can be intimate with her lover. One day, Prabha and Anu go on a trip to the sea. There they come across a mystical forest. The place is a space of freedom and helps the women to realize their dreams.
