Alter Bridge coming to Germany with new album in January 2026

The US rock band Alter Bridge can now proudly look back on over 20 years of band existence. The recipe for success? "We've never allowed ourselves to get comfortable," says singer Myles Kennedy. Together with his bandmates Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips, former members of the band Creed, he formed Alter Bridge in 2004. A group that quickly emerged as a bright shining star in the hard rock sky. The first of seven studio albums to date, "One Day Remains", was released in the same year the band was founded, and their mixture of hard rock and progressive metal enjoyed initial success at home and then far beyond. In the years that followed, further albums were released at a rapid pace and Alter Bridge played their way to the top of the hard rock scene, where they remain to this day. Even after all these years, the original band constellation has never changed and the four founding members have been able to hone their own sound together for over two decades. Now the eighth studio album is due, which more than deserves the band name "Alter Bridge" as its title. The LP will be released on January 9th next year, after which the US-Americans will be heading to Germany just a few days later to perform the new work live at four locations. Alter Bridge will be accompanied by two special guests, Daughtry and Sevendust, who have also been proving themselves as rock giants for decades. Having recently toured North America with Creed, the two bands will be back on European stages in 2026. With this explosive mix, Alter Bridge promise unforgettable evenings for the "What Lies Within" tour.
