On December 13 and 14, 2025, the "ALTER Winter Market: For Art and Children" invites you to the ALTER grounds, directly opposite the Alte Feuerwache. In the spirit of ALTER and the season, the focus here is on creativity and children's happiness.
Artists from the city of Mannheim can present and sell their work here. At the same time, well-preserved used toys will be on sale - a sustainable idea that will provide some lovely surprises, especially in the run-up to Christmas!

Visitors can expect delicious food, tasty mulled wine and, of course, excellent live music. The winter market not only offers the opportunity to get to know local artists, but also to experience a warming winter event in a familiar ALTER atmosphere.

The winter market is organized by the Förderverein ALTER e.V., which has been supporting the ALTER since this year and is actively committed to its preservation.

After an eventful and successful season, which came to a striking conclusion with the premiere of the documentary film "Die Plätze denen, die sie beleben", all supporters of the ALTER are cordially invited once again to send a clear signal together shortly before the end of the year: The ALTER is here to stay.

Artists can apply for a stand space until November 23 via foerderverein@alter-mannheim.de. The stand fee is based on donations. All further inquiries and support also via this address!
