How does the heat transition work in old towns? We find out on a walk through the historic town center of Vaihingen an der Enz. Climate protection manager Thomas Eckstein and heating network engineer Roland Weikert explain how the heating transition and monument protection can be reconciled. The highlight is a visit to the climate-neutral renovated home of Lord Mayor Uwe Skrzypek.

You don't need to register, just come along - preferably with weatherproof clothing in case of rain. The meeting point is at the Löwenbrunnen (market square) in Vaihingen an der Enz.

The event is part of the project "Druck im Kessel - Wie trifft mich die Wärmewende?" by SWR and CORRECTIV. From October 28 to 31, journalists will be on site in the PopUp Studio at Stuttgarter Str. 17 in Vaihingen (Enz) every day from 12 noon to 7 p.m. and are looking forward to discussing all aspects of heating with citizens.
