It will get loud: Hamburg gets a new festival in 2026!

When rock music reinvented itself once again and became the defining sound of the 90s, its sheer power turned international pop music certainties completely upside down. This reverberation can still be clearly felt today: unbridled energy that breaks through in guitar feedback, harsh noise and drum thunderstorms, setting the frustrations and fears of entire generations to music and making them palpable.
This is exactly where AMPLIFIRE, Hamburg's new festival, comes in.

AMPLIFIRE presents two days of guitar music between alternative rock, post-hardcore and punk rock in the green and colorful oasis of Hamburg's harbor, which is also known to many music fans through festivals such as MS Dockville, Spektrum or Habitat.

The program of over 30 favourite bands, insider tips and newcomers, lovingly curated by fans for fans, brings the passion and energy of this music to Hamburg for a weekend.

With Biffy Clyro (GB), AMPLIFIRE is delighted to welcome another headliner. The trio led by singer and guitarist Simon Neil is one of the most successful rock bands of our time and will be unleashing plenty of positive energy at this year's festival with hits such as "A Little Love", "Black Chandelier", "Many Of Horror" and "Mountains"! The Get Up Kids (US) are regarded as one of the most influential formations of the '2nd Wave of Emo' and have built up a loyal international fan base with albums such as "Something To Write Home About" and "The Guilt Show". High Vis (GB) have been causing a worldwide stir since 2019 with their multi-layered guitar board that combines post-punk, Madchester grooves, neo pyschedelia and hardcore, post-hardcore elemental force FJØRT (DE) from the imperial city of Aachen are bringing their brand new fifth album "Belle Epoque" with them and post-hardcore institution The Intersphere (DE) are presenting their ever-impressive soundscapes. The quartet Artio (GB) has earned a reputation as one of the most dynamic new alternative rock bands with its explosive live concerts and will also win over plenty of new fans at AMPLIFIRE. The Hebridean Sheep (DE) unite an absolutely stunning mix of tongue-in-cheek humor, virtuosity and uncompromising power like no other band, while Hamburg punk/hardcore newcomers SKIRT (DE) have set out not to mince their words.

With these new confirmations, the AMPLIFIRE line-up grows to a total of 20 acts - more to follow!

In addition to the regular categories, social tickets will be offered for € 50,- to give as many people as possible the opportunity to visit the Amplifire Festival, even if the regular price exceeds their financial situation.
