AN EVENING WITH - CRISTIANA MORGANTI presents the artist on August 23 with video footage of the productions and in conversation with journalist and author Dr. Anne-Kathrin Reif.

We know her from numerous roles. Cristiana Morganti is a dancer with a strong presence and a rare talent for deep comedy. From 1993 to 2014, Cristiana Morganti was a member of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch ensemble. Cristiana Morganti began her own career as a choreographer in 2010 with the lecture performance Moving with Pina. She has since been awarded numerous prizes. Her pieces can be seen all over the world - but not yet in Wuppertal. That is about to change! With the new format AN EVENING WITH, the audience will be introduced to artists who have a special connection to Pina Bausch's work in Wuppertal and the world as part of the preliminary phase of the Pina Bausch Center "under construction".

The evening will take place as part of the residency of Cristiana Morganti and the Cologne-based Italian choreographer and dancer Emanuele Soavi. The Open Studio - This is a Premiere Unplugged will follow on October 18 and 19.
