Andreas Kümmert's breakthrough came in 2013. He won the TV show "The Voice of Germany" with his trademark song "Simple Man". Since then, he has long outgrown this stigma with his unique voice, impressive blues guitar and timeless songs. And unlike most participants in such TV formats, he has remained consistently successful.

Musically, Kümmert moves between blues, rock and soul - a genre mix that he has shaped into his very own sound with raw emotionality and technical depth. His songs sound honest, grounded and taken directly from life - often raw, sometimes vulnerable, but always with a strong inner power. Live, he impresses with his charismatic stage presence and an extraordinary sense of dynamics and intensity.

In summer 2026, he will be performing at the Zelt-Musik-Festival again after 10 years, bringing his unmistakable sound back to Freiburg.
