The female-fronted quartet Annie Taylor has quickly carved out a niche for itself in the modern rock landscape with its dynamic mix of grunge, indie rock and psychedelic influences. The band, consisting of Gini Jungi (vocals, guitar), Tobias Arn (guitar), Michael Mutter (bass) and Daniel Bachmann (drums), named themselves after the first woman to survive a trip over Niagara Falls in a barrel.

Known for their electrifying live shows, Annie Taylor have toured Europe extensively and built a reputation for their energetic performances.

Last year the band released their second album "Inner Smile", which was recorded with renowned producer Ali Chant in Bristol, UK. The album marks a significant evolution of their sound and is characterized by more complex arrangements and a broader sonic palette. Songs such as 'Schoolgirl' and 'Push Me' demonstrate her development as a songwriter and musician and explore themes of self-discovery and resilience.

2024 was a milestone year for Annie Taylor, with a standout performance at SXSW in Austin, Texas, marking their US debut. They also recorded a session with cult Seattle radio station KEXP, further cementing their international presence.

Annie Taylor's journey from the underground clubs of Zurich to the stages of the biggest festivals in Europe and the USA is a testament to her talent and dedication. With "Inner Smile", which opens a new chapter in their career, the band is poised for even greater success in the years to come and is constantly pushing forward with their development.
