Anti-Slavism and forced labor under National Socialism

Workshop at the Valentin Bunker memorial site / for everyone aged 16 and over

The racist system of Nazi forced labor was strongly influenced by anti-Slavism and led to inhumane working and living conditions for forced laborers and prisoners of war from the Soviet Union at the bunker construction site.

Using the example of the "Valentin" bunker, we look at the role of anti-Slavism in the Nazi era: Who was affected? What was the historical context? And what continuities continue to the present day? Together we want to learn how we can recognize and counteract anti-Slavism.

A maximum of 25 people can take part.

Action weeks against exclusion and discrimination in the north of Bremen

The north of Bremen is becoming colorful! From August 27 to September 14, 2025, the action weeks against exclusion and discrimination will take place in the north of Bremen. Numerous events, workshops and hands-on activities await you, with which we will work together for diverse lifestyles, participation and solidarity with one another. Let's set an example together: against the right and all forms of group-based misanthropy.

Since 2017, the action weeks have been organized by a broad alliance of associations, institutions and committed individuals from the region. As organizers, we want to encourage everyone to take a critical look at their own prejudices. In addition to raising awareness of discriminatory structures, the events are also about networking and empowerment.
