Are you tired? Then go to rest. But in our overstimulated present, is time out even still an option? While exhaustion is rapidly increasing, places to relax are dwindling. Where in the past, for example, spas with forest walks, treading water and hay wraps invited people to regenerate, today there are commercial themed landscapes and expensive rehabilitation clinics. What can you do if you don't have to do anything? The Bochum-based collective äöü has the answer: a theater cure. Their performance 'GEH ZUR RUH' uses the principle of healing treatments and turns the stage into a research laboratory: isn't it time for a recovery revolution? What if there was a space that was open to everyone? A system in which tiredness, exhaustion and excessive demands are taken seriously. In short: a policy of caring. GEH ZUR RUH' is for everyone who urgently needs to switch off. Who dream of relaxation - and go to the theater to do so.
